Commission FAQ
How long does a commissioned piece take?
Most commissions are completed within 6–10 weeks, depending on size, complexity, and my current schedule. Timelines are discussed during the consultation phase.
Can I request specific colors or themes?
Yes. We discuss palette, mood, scale, and thematic direction at the start. While I welcome input, all final artistic decisions remain part of my creative process to protect the integrity of the work.
Will I see progress along the way?
You’ll receive updates at key stages of the painting. This allows transparency while giving the piece space to evolve naturally.
Can you recreate a piece I’ve already seen?
I do not recreate existing artwork. Commissions are one-of-a-kind originals inspired by my current body of work, not replicas.
Do you offer revisions?
Minor adjustments may be made early in the process. Once the painting moves into later stages, revisions are limited to preserve the integrity of the work.
What sizes are available?
Sizes vary and are discussed during consultation. Larger-scale works and multi-panel pieces are available upon request.
How does payment work?
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission slot, with the remaining balance due upon completion prior to delivery or shipping.
Do you ship commissioned artwork?
Yes. Shipping is available and quoted separately based on size and destination.
Collector Information
Commissioned works are created for collectors who value originality, process, and artistic authorship.
Each commission is approached as a continuation of my broader body of work, not a departure from it. While your space and preferences inform the piece, the final artwork is guided by my visual language, materials, and themes—ensuring it holds lasting artistic and emotional value.
Because of this, I accept a limited number of commissions each year. Availability is intentionally restricted to allow for depth, intention, and focus within each piece.
Collectors commissioning work can expect a thoughtful, collaborative experience and an artwork created to live with you—visually, emotionally, and over time.
